Leann's Story

Hey there! I’m Leann, owner of Blaisdell Insurance Services.

Let me tell you a little bit about my story and why I love what I do.

Life hasn’t always been easy, but it led me to a job that is rewarding and fulfilling, so for that I am grateful.

You see, I was only 11 when my mother passed away unexpectedly. Her death created a rift in my family, as my siblings and I were split apart to live with different family members. We had nothing. I was placed with my grandmother, who I didn’t know well before my mother’s passing. She was on a fixed income, and I always felt like a burden. The uncertainty and hardship I faced left a lasting impression on me.

Which is why at 22 left my successful career in photography to pursue a dramatically different course with NTA.

It may seem odd that I would leave an established career in the photography world to pursue a role in insurance. Why give up the adventure and excitement of my artistic passion?

Because I want, more than anything, to protect others from life’s uncertainties and feelings of powerlessness. I want to help others through the most difficult of times by giving them options which best fit their specific situations. I want to be there for people.

My agency now provides life insurance and supplemental benefits to first responders, educators, and their family and friends. I’m able to serve the heart of the community and help them through some of life’s most difficult times. I found a career that is both rewarding and fulfilling.

I know that life is a winding road, full of surprises (both welcome and unwelcome), but there is one constant: family.

My incredible husband, Nate, and our two beautiful daughters, Ruby and Fiona, inspire me daily and it is my love for them which pushes me to succeed. I want to be a role model, a provider, and a source of support for the people I care about.
